Summary:
Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for performing office tasks that support the accounting, shredding and storage departments.
This position requires punctuality, professionalism and the ability and desire to learn.
Duties and Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for directing operator calls Assists walk-in customers to include cash and credit card handling and processing Receives, sorts and files documents and mail Responsible for posting of customer checks into QuickBooks Assist in the collections responsibilities Maintains the proper filing systems Skills and Specifications Must have QuickBooks and/or bookkeeping experience Must have basic computer proficiency to include MS Word, Excel and Outlook Must have exceptional organizational and communication skills Must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing Must have a keen eye for detail Must be self motivated and able to work independently Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor Success Factor Competencies Customer Service Skills:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
