Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner - Answer and direct phone calls, take messages as needed - Provide general administrative support such as filing, scanning, and data entry - Schedule appointments and maintain calendars - Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages - Assist with order entry and inventory management - Transcribe meeting minutes and other documents as required - Maintain office supplies and ensure office equipment is in working order - Coordinate travel arrangements for staff members Skills:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills - Proficient in computerized systems and software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks) - Experience with phone systems and handling multiple lines - Knowledge of medical office procedures is a plus - Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy - Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Attention to detail for proofreading documents This position requires a reliable individual who can multitask effectively, prioritize tasks, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role, preferably as a receptionist or administrative assistant.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
